ignition spark was faulty. The engineer diagnosed the issue quickly, recommended a replacement instead of a repair for cost & reliability reasons, and was able to install the new hob the very next day. I cannot praise Ali enough. It was one of the best contracting work experiences for what could have been a nightmare start to a recent home purchase. We were without hot water and low water pressure in a 1950s home with old pipework and giant, gross water tank. Ali came the next day after inspecting the issues and suggested an upgrade to a combi-boiler at a fraction of the cost of what Scottish Gas quoted. He stayed late in the evening and returned the next day to finish- even replaced a kitchen tap for me on this job.
